liposuction
for men
Liposuction is one of the most commonly performed cosmetic procedures for men—and with good reason. Whether targeting a specific trouble spot or multiple areas, male liposuction helps define your physique by removing stubborn fat deposits that resist diet and exercise.
At VedaNu Wellness, we recognize that male body contouring is both a science and an art. Our experienced team uses advanced liposculpture techniques to deliver results that enhance natural muscle definition while maintaining masculine proportions. The most commonly treated areas in men include the abdomen, flanks (“love handles”), chest, and neck.
candidates
Liposuction is not a weight loss solution—it’s a sculpting procedure designed for men who are close to their target weight but struggle with localized fat that won’t budge. Many candidates have already committed to a healthy lifestyle and regular exercise, but want to fine-tune their results.
Good candidates for male liposuction are:
- Within 30 pounds of their ideal or “set point” weight
- In good overall health
- Struggling with resistant fat in common areas such as the flanks or chest
- Seeking definition and contour, not significant weight loss
- Free of health conditions that could increase surgical risk
Your safety is our top priority. During your consultation, we’ll assess your health, goals, and body composition to ensure liposuction is both safe and effective for your needs.
procedure
Liposuction for men typically takes between 1 to 3 hours, depending on the number and size of treatment areas. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis, meaning you’ll return home the same day.
Incisions are small—usually about a quarter inch—and are placed in discreet areas such as skin folds or near natural body creases. Most patients do not require shaving of the treatment area. Our approach to male liposuction is nearly circumferential, meaning we focus on overall contour improvement rather than isolated fat removal for more balanced, athletic results.
recovery
During the first week following surgery, it’s normal to experience swelling, soreness, and fatigue—this is the most intense phase of healing. Between weeks one and two, you may still feel tender or low-energy, especially as your body adjusts and begins to stabilize.
By the third week, most swelling begins to subside, and you’ll notice your energy levels gradually returning. It’s also common to feel emotionally fatigued during this period—a normal part of surgical recovery. Our team will monitor your healing closely and be here to support you every step of the way.
You’ll be given a compression garment to wear during recovery to reduce swelling and support your new shape.
