Size

Implant sizes are measured in cubic centimeters (cc), typically ranging from 200cc to 600cc. Your ideal size depends on your frame, tissue elasticity, and desired outcome. During your consultation, we’ll help you visualize different sizes with real-time sizing tools and try-on sizers.

Type of Implant

We offer both saline and silicone implants—including gummy bear implants, which are known for their cohesive, form-stable gel. Saline implants are filled with sterile salt water after placement, while silicone implants come pre-filled with a thick, gel-like material that mimics natural breast tissue.

Gummy bear implants hold their shape and are less prone to leakage, making them a popular option for patients seeking a firmer, more natural feel.

Placement

Implants can be placed:

Under the muscle (submuscular) – for a more natural contour and reduced risk of visible rippling.
Over the muscle (subglandular) – for patients with more natural tissue coverage, offering a slightly easier recovery.

Incision Location

There are three common incision locations:

Inframammary – beneath the breast fold (most common and concealed)
Periareolar – around the edge of the areola
Transaxillary – through the underarm (less common)

Implant Shape

We offer round and anatomical (teardrop) shapes.
Round implants offer fullness in the upper breast and cleavage area, while teardrop implants mimic the natural slope of the breast and are often chosen for a more subtle, contoured look.

Implant Texture

Most implants used at VedaNu Wellness are smooth-surfaced, as they move more naturally with the body and have a lower complication rate. Textured implants are less commonly used but may be appropriate in specific cases.

Implant Profile

Profile describes the projection of the implant—how far it projects forward from the chest wall.

Options include:

Low profile – flatter projection
Moderate to moderate plus – balanced volume and projection
High or ultra-high profile – more dramatic lift, often used for narrower chest widths
