With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. James Chao is a nationally recognized, board-certified plastic surgeon known for his artistic precision, innovative surgical techniques, and compassionate care. His expertise spans a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, with a special focus on breast surgery, facial rejuvenation, advanced skin resurfacing, and body contouring.

He graduated with honors from Stanford University, received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, and completed advanced surgical training at the renowned Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital. Dr. Chao has trained at some of the most prestigious institutions in the country and is committed to delivering natural-looking results tailored to each patient’s unique goals. Dr. Chao and Blake have both been extremely accommodating and helpful. The team is very responsive and Dr. Chao has been willing to answer questions and do follow ups whenever needed. My recovery was quick and at about 4 months post-op my incisions could barely be seen and couldn't be felt at all. I had multiple members of the team reach out to me regularly during my recovery to make sure I was doing well.
