Brow lifts are typically performed as outpatient procedures, meaning you'll return home the same day. However, we strongly recommend having someone drive you home and stay with you for the first 24–48 hours to assist with your recovery.

Endoscopic Brow Lift (Forehead Surgery)

The endoscopic brow lift is a minimally invasive procedure involving a few small incisions hidden within the hairline. Using a thin, pencil-like camera called an endoscope, your surgeon visualizes and adjusts the underlying tissue and muscles responsible for sagging brows and forehead lines.

Because the incisions are discreetly placed and healing is often quicker, this approach is ideal for patients seeking subtle elevation with less downtime. However, not all patients are candidates for this technique.

Traditional Brow Lift

The traditional (open) brow lift is often used for patients with significant forehead aging or those who need more dramatic lifting. It involves a longer incision either behind or along the hairline, customized to the patient's unique facial proportions.

This method allows the surgeon to directly access and adjust deeper structures, reduce forehead height if necessary, and trim away excess skin. It’s ideal for smoothing deep wrinkles and restoring a balanced, lifted brow contour.

Eyelid Approach Brow Lift

In some cases, brow elevation can be achieved through the same incision used for upper eyelid surgery. Known as the eyelid approach brow lift, this technique modifies the muscles that cause frown lines without requiring a separate incision along the scalp.

This option is best suited for patients undergoing upper blepharoplasty who would benefit from subtle brow elevation at the same time.
